Muldental Elektronik manufactures cable assemblies and connectors for industry and model engineering. An inventory system used for around 25 years was closely tied to the processes of an active manufacturing operation and needed to be replaced with a modern solution.
PoW24 analysed existing workflows, supported the implementation and administration of PKWS Warenwirtschaft, and developed custom migration middleware to transfer data from the legacy systems into the new inventory platform. The transition was combined with improvements to operational processes.
PoW24 has supported Muldental Elektronik for around 15 years across administration, infrastructure, IT security and technical development. The ERP implementation was carried out with PKWS; Christian Pittroff is also a managing director of PKWS.
The transition created a modern inventory and ERP foundation that can continue to evolve. Established workflows were reviewed, restructured and simplified in several areas, while ongoing IT support continues to address infrastructure, software and production requirements as one connected system.
